Yuhao Wang is a volunteer student author working under Dr. Benjamin Bonavida at the University of California, Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California. He received his B.Sc. in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA in 2017. He began working with Dr. Bonavida in 2018 on a review exploring the putative molecular connections between RKIP, its various regulators and downstream targets, and autophagy. Currently, he is working on a short perspective on RKIP integrating the recent findings offered by the community and outlining promising new directions to pursue in the field of basic cancer research. In addition, he is part of a student team working on a perspective on the various ways cancer cells develop resistance to innate and adaptive immune responses.
